The 5-inch K-style is by far the most common, making up about 75% of residential gutter installations. You’ll see this style on most homes. The other 25% is split between the other three options. The 6-inch K-style is often used for roofs with steeper valleys or pitches, offering more coverage. If you’re going for a more European look, the 6-inch half-round is a great option. Meanwhile, the 6-inch box style is typically found on light commercial buildings or modern homes, and it’s built to handle larger amounts of water.
